How to remove virus

Websearch SearchBoxes virus is a vicious hijacker that redirects you to search engine which is a bogus website. This type of domains are created and spread by spammers to achieve their malicious targets. usually the redirect virus enters into a computer silently, then it attacks web browsers like Chrome, Firefox, internet explorer etc. The malware will modify HOSTS files, changes homepage and replaces the default search engine (google) with link. From now on, if you try to find anything online, your search results will be replaced or redirected to website. That annoying site will keep appearing again and again even when you try to access a social network site or your startpage. Although seems just a normal website but do not fall for its interface, it can drop cookies and use other techniques to track your activities, collects your personal/financial information and may invite further viruses and spywares from Internet. How to uninstall

Remove toolbars, plugins, extensions, add-ons
Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox users:
Go to TOOLS and then click MANAGE ADD-ON, From there, select Extensions, Toolbars and remove the if found. Make sure Google is set as default search Provider.

Google Chrome Users:
Click SETTINGS icon and select SETTINGS, then open Extensions, toolbar, search provider options, remove the if listed there. Make sure Google is set as default search Provider.

Uninstall from Control Panel
Open CONTROL PANEL, then ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS or “Programs and Features”, now lookup for and uninstall if it is listed.

How to delete manually:
If the malware did not go away after uninstall procedure, try these steps. Please note, the manual removal method is a bit complex and it can go wrong if you perform its tasks incorrectly. Delete files:
Open then following folders or search for in My Computer and delete if found files associated with this bug.

C:\program files
%AllUsersProfile%\Application Data\
%AllUsersProfile%\ virus removal tool
